Getting my DMCS Hospital Passport and Emergency Card

I have always felt anxious when visiting the hospital, GP appointments or emergencies due to my deafness.

Then I found the DMCS Hospital Passport and Emergency Card and now the doctor/nurse/paramedic know my information and how I communicate.

Using the Hospital Passport and Emergency card has been a positive experience. I feel more secure and confident having them with me.
I'm sharing my experience of using the DMCS Hospital Passport and Emergency Card with you and I'm encouraging you to get yours and take the stress

out of appointments and emergency situations.

Work Experience in a Cemetery

What is my name?, It´s Leon.

I work at a cemetery in London.
I do lots of different jobs, like weeding, sweeping, cutting plants.
I´m very busy looking after flowers, leaves and trees.
I´m proud to work hard in
all weathers, snow
( it doesn´t matter!), sun and rain.
When I arrive at work, people
say:" Wow, you are Deaf"!,
They say "What a nice person"!

I connect with hearing people and teach them some signing.

Thank you for watching!.
Good bye
